In the news...

Long before video games and cell phones, there was baseball. Since World War II, kids have been running the bases at The 3&2 Baseball Club of Kansas City, Missouri. Four generations of children have fallen in love with baseball at these historic fields. They have hit home runs and pitched perfect games. With joy has also come failure—a swing and a miss or an error that costs the team the big game.

The five diamonds at Bannister and Blue River Road are more than just playing fields. They are classrooms where kids have learned life lessons. On the field, children have discovered courage, developed character, and become team players. Off the field, families have gathered faithfully on warm summer nights to celebrate triumphs, encourage in times of disappointment and teach their children invaluable life skills.

Help us continue this legacy for generations to come.
